Privacy notice
In short: if I emailed you, I found your company's general email address on your own website. I use it only to send one business proposal and, at most, one reminder. Reply “no” and I will not write again.
This page explains what personal data I handle, why, and for how long. It is for those I have written to, those who write to me, and my clients.
1. Who is responsible and how to contact me
SiteSolvo is the name under which I, Kernius Zigmantas, work. I fix and update online shops that are already running. I am responsible for the processing of the personal data described here.
Services are provided, contracts signed and VAT invoices issued by UAB Siuvimo manija (my family's company), company code 134796733, VAT number LT100001804113, Kleboniškio g. 18-1, LT-44104 Kaunas, Lithuania. So this company also handles contract and invoice data.
How to reach me:
- by email at kerniuszigmantas@gmail.com (the address my emails come from);
- by email at sitesolvo@gmail.com;
- by phone at +370 618 50512 (it is best to send a message);
- by post to UAB Siuvimo manija, Kleboniškio g. 18-1, LT-44104 Kaunas, Lithuania.
Write to either address if you do not want my emails or want to ask about your data.
2. If you write to me or call
You can email me, call, send a text message or fill in the “Free website check” form on this website. The form does not send anything by itself. It opens your own email app with a ready message. When you send it, I receive the email at sitesolvo@gmail.com.
- What I get
- The contact details you give (for example your name, email or phone), your website address and what you write.
- Why
- To reply to you, review your publicly visible website and, if you ask, prepare an offer.
- Legal basis
- Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- How long
- If we do not agree on any work, up to 12 months after our last email. If we do, see section 4.
3. If I emailed you first
What I collect and where it comes from
- your company or shop name and website address;
- the general company email address published on your website (for example info@ or shop@);
- one visible issue I noticed on your website, which is what my email is about.
All of this comes from your company's own public website. I do not collect personal email addresses of named employees. If you run your shop as a sole trader or a farmer, even the shop's general email address may count as personal data. That is why I publish this notice. If you reply, I also keep your reply and the contact details in it.
Why, and on what legal basis
I use this data to send one business email offering to fix the issue I noticed and, later, at most one reminder. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): offering a relevant service to a business at an address that the business itself published as a contact.
If you reply, I use your details to answer you. If we agree on work, I use them to do the work (Article 6(1)(b)) and to issue an invoice (Article 6(1)(c)).
How long I keep it
- Contact details: up to 12 months after our last email.
- A record of which companies I emailed and when is kept separately from other data. It makes sure no company gets more than one email and one reminder, so I keep it for as long as I send such emails (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- If you reply “no”, your address is moved to a do-not-contact list and never used for emails again. Only your domain and email address are kept there, so that I never write to you again.
4. Clients: contract and invoices
When we agree on work, the contract with you is signed and the invoices are issued by UAB Siuvimo manija.
- What I handle
- The contact person's name, email and phone, your company details, the contract, invoices and our correspondence about the work.
- Why
- To do the agreed work and issue invoices.
- Legal basis
- The contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For invoices, the requirements of accounting law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- How long
- Contract data: while the contract runs, and after that for as long as needed to deal with any claims. Invoices: as long as Lithuanian accounting law requires.
5. Access to your website
The work often needs access to the admin panel, the website files (FTP or SFTP), the database or the hosting control panel (for example DirectAdmin, cPanel or Plesk).
- I use these details only for the agreed work and never share them.
- I keep them only while the work or maintenance lasts. After that I delete them.
- I advise creating a separate admin account for me and, when I finish the work, changing the passwords.
6. Your customers' data
While working with your shop, I may see your customers' data, such as orders, names and addresses. Your company is responsible for that data. I am the processor (Article 28 GDPR): I process it only on your instructions and only as far as needed for the agreed work. That is why the contract includes data processing terms.
Before the work I make a backup copy of the website and the database, so I can restore everything if needed. I delete these backup copies once the work is done and checked.
7. This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. The font and images load from this website itself, not from other servers.
The hosting provider for this website is Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare processes technical data, such as IP addresses, only to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the website working and protected. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU (see section 8).
8. Who else sees the data
- Google (Gmail), my email provider. Emails are stored on Google's servers.
- Cloudflare, the hosting provider for this website.
- UAB Siuvimo manija signs the contracts and issues the invoices. Invoice data is also seen by its accountant.
Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the EU. Such transfers take place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
I do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it (for example, invoice data reported to the Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate).
9. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to restrict how I use it. You can receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller. You can also object to my using it (Articles 15–21 GDPR). If you no longer want my emails, just reply “no” or write to me, and I will not write again. For anything else, write to either address in section 1.
In addition, you can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or to the data protection authority in your own country.
You are not required to provide any data, but without it I cannot reply to you, and UAB Siuvimo manija cannot conclude a contract or issue an invoice. I make no automated decisions about you.
If anything changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
